Solaris Shores, originally known as The Islands is a location in Dawn of the New Hour - Aurum Demo and Crystal Fragments - Aurum Demo.
In the DEMO Version, the Islands are a playable location, but with limited access. In the Aurum Demo, it is noted through an Autoevent that the Islands will be completely reworked at a later date to become "original" rather than a copy of Destiny Islands.
Setting[]
The player can only explore the Seashore, Secret Spot, and the Seaside Shack. In the Full Version, more areas are planned to be accessible, such as the Cove and the Main Island.
VACHOME[]
Within the latest developer version of the game, a map caleld VACHOME is under the Solaris Shores folder. VACHOME could be Vacation Home, which would suggest the player might be able to rent or purchase a home while on the island.
Seashore[]
The Seashore is the main area of the smaller island. With sandy beaches and the sounds of a tide, this seems like a rather peaceful location.
Seaside Shack[]
The Seaside Shack is where the player's Save Point is. This leads to a bridge that connects the Seashore with a smaller island not too far out into the water.
Secret Spot[]
The Secret Spot is a cave somewhat tucked away near the waterfall. A strange door sits at the end.
Portal[]
During a scene with Mr. Tot, a portal appears. This is how he traveled into the Islands. If the player walks into this portal, it transports them to an unnamed world.

Trivia[]
- Originally, this was based entirely on the Destiny Islands from the Kingdom Hearts series.
- "Due to the universes crashing together, this location is actually Destiny Islands from the game Kingdom Hearts. This is the home world of Xehanort, Sora, Riku, and Kairi in the series."
- There are no cave drawings in the Secret Spot. It is unknown whether this takes place in a time where the cave drawings weren't there at all, or the creator simply didn't put the drawings in there yet.
- Originally, the Islands were to be the homeworld of Mr. Tot, before the Gate:Way cannon was constructed.
- The creator has stated this location will solely be for "the current version of Crystal Fragments", but not future versions. He did not elaborate further on the statement. This could be assumed that the Islands could be removed from any possible remake or remaster of Crystal Fragments due to copyright reasons.
